Carolyn Maue

A successful entrepreneur and communicator, Carolyn Maue is an expert in dealing with “people” issues in the workplace, consistently yielding positive change and growth for the organizations she serves. Carolyn supports executive and emerging leaders in identifying their strengths and opportunities for development, clarifying goals for growth, and implementing effective, practical solutions. Carolyn’s real-world corporate experience as a leader and entrepreneur informs her approaches that help clients quickly identify strategies and solutions. In addition to being a leadership resource to the SEI since 2014, The Maue Center has provided coaching and consulting to organizations and companies including Carnegie Mellon University, UPMC Hospitals and Business Units, Point Park University, Giant Eagle, Inc., and the University of Central Florida. Carolyn’s presentations have included Coaching for Success, The Business Case for Diversity, and Managing Through Organizational Change and her interests in international travel, music, fitness and photography shape the creative approaches she brings to her clients. Carolyn was awarded a BS, Music Education from West Chester University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.

Colleen C. Bastian, PhD

Executive Coach

Colleen C. Bastian focuses on achieving business results to help her clients reach their greatest potential. As Principal of Invoke Leadership, LLC., her services include: organizational assessment, leadership and team development, and executive coaching. She also has special interest and expertise in diversity and inclusive leadership, leader identity, and human performance.

Colleen’s partial client list includes leaders at Fortune 500 companies such as Gap Inc., Humana, Intel, JM Family, Johnson & Johnson, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), and Ultimate Software.  She has worked with leaders in a wide array of industries and levels which include professional services, healthcare, finance, marketing, technology, and sales departments.

Colleen holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology.  She is a certified professional coach (PCC) and remains active in her own professional development. In addition, she serves on the Leadership Council of the Society of Consulting Psychologists (Division 13 of the APA) as Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

Prior to becoming an organizational consultant, Colleen’s business experience included working as an internal coach at eBay Inc.  She was also a senior sales representative and held a leadership position in hospital and specialty sales plus served on the Leadership Council.

Colleen resides in south Florida with her husband Bruce and her two children and enjoys competing in triathlons and swim races.

Carol Bennett

Sindy Cassidy

Sindy is an experienced leader and professional coach who works with C-suite executives, high potentials, and mid-senior level professionals.

She is passionate about helping individuals build a toolkit of sustainable skills, leverage their capabilities, and successfully navigate today’s increasingly complex and rapidly changing world. Her practical approach bridges the latest research in brain science with insights to enhance strategy, innovation, communication, relationships, and resilience.

She holds a BA in Organizational Communication/Business and a Master in Human Resources from Rollins College.

Timothy J. G. Edris, MS

Executive Coach, Principal Consultant and Organizational Leader

Timothy Edris is a team and leadership development specialist with over 20 years of experience designing and implementing corporate and university training programs. Tim has a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) from Geneva College as well as certifications in various Organizational Development tools and techniques. Tim is the principal consultant at Emerging Leaders Institute. He is a coach who knows how to develop the potential of the people he mentors. He has a knack for creative design and the execution of organizational learning experiences, which are memorable, that help transfer learning to rising leaders’ hearts and minds. In addition to highly creative means of teaching, he has taught in more traditional settings at the collegiate level and other adult environments for over 15 years.

Dan Feldman, PhD

Executive Coach

Dan Feldman is an executive coach who helps senior leaders build sustainable leadership and broaden their style to improve influence, resilience, presentation, and team performance. For over thirty years, Dan has served as a catalyst for change in organizations. Dan specializes in in-depth analysis of a leader’s key developmental requirements for workplace success and provides the necessary intensive coaching to develop or expand the relevant skill areas. Dan helps his clients broaden their impact on individuals and teams, project confidence and executive presence, hold crucial conversations, and expand their capabilities to reach their goals.

Dan has worked in a variety of industries and has provided comprehensive executive coaching to CEOs, EVPs, VPs, and Senior Directors. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed psychologist, and is certified in the Hogan Leadership Assessments, the Leadership Circle Profile, and the CDR 3-D Leadership Assessments.

Dan is the author of books on critical thinking, workplace coaching, and emotionally intelligent leadership.

Michael Forlenza, PhD, MPH

Michael Forlenza is an experienced leader, international leadership consultant, and leadership development coach having worked extensively with both executive and emerging leaders across a wide variety of corporate and economic sectors including academic medicine and healthcare, higher education, mental health care, financial services, insurance, legal services, law enforcement, government, biotechnology, engineering, hospitality, and food service.

Prior to becoming a full-time coach, consultant, and facilitator, Michael served as Assistant Dean in the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement at Duquesne University where he initiated, founded, and taught in the Professional Coach Certification Program (PCCP), an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program, also serving as its Executive Director.

Michael holds a doctorate in Biological and Health Psychology and an MPH in Epidemiology and is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC). He has advanced training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion MSC), Mindfulness-Based Emotional Intelligence Training (MBEI), Corporate-Based Mindfulness Training (CBMT), the Cynefin Framework, Internal Family Systems (IFS), developmental coaching, and Transformational Consulting.

Denise Ann Galloni, M.S

Executive Coach

Denise Galloni’s mission is to help others find their voices and become better communicators through her company, DG Training Solutions Inc., which was founded in 2014.  She has delivered more than 500 presentations across the United States and Internationally. Some of the most requested corporate presentations discuss team work, managing change in an organization, speaking confidently and electronic health records training.

Denise has created, produced and hosted an award-winning TV show called Empowering Women.   Empowering Women was awarded Program of the Month, Education/Information Program of the Year and Denise was awarded Host of the year in the 2018 local Public Access Television Awards.

Some of Denise’s other honors include: Distinguished Toastmaster 2011 & 2018, a 2014 NAPW VIP Woman of the Year and the 2014 Continental Who’s Who Professional Member.   As of 2018, Denise is a verified vendor for Government, Allegheny County certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and Pennsylvania Unified Certification Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).

Denise earned her degrees from Carlow University, with a BS in Business Management/Human Resources and an MS in Professional Leadership.

Bryan Hunt

Business Manager

After an accomplished 30+ year career in international sales, marketing, and product marketing throughout Europe, Asia and the United States, Bryan Hunt brings his commercial engineering background and strong attention to detail to The Maue Center’s sales, marketing and accounting areas. Leveraging the skills and expertise gleaned from successful stints with Westinghouse and Eaton Corporations and his United Kingdom education and training, Bryan’s support enables The Maue Center to achieve its business goals and develop new strategies for market penetration and service delivery.

Joyce Kane

Executive Administrator

Following a 30+ year career in IT and Telecommunications Management, Joyce Kane brings her business acumen, technology background and organizational skills to support the operational needs of The Maue Center since 2010. Joyce is the owner of Cybertary Pittsburgh, a virtual administrative company. She earned her undergraduate BS degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University (Philadelphia) and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Alyson Lyon

Executive Coach

Alyson Lyon has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership development working internationally with senior executives, lawyers, physicians and other business leaders. As a Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) certified coach (2017) and an International Coach Federation (ICF) certified coach (2006), Alyson is dedicated to working with executive leaders and their teams to mindfully achieve a lasting change in behavior thereby increasing the quality of their relationships, communication and executive presence. Her research-based approach transforms culture through applied emotional intelligence among team members and other leaders in the organization. In addition to executive coaching, she facilitates and designs cohort-based leadership development programs to meet a variety of current or emerging business challenges. As an Educator, Alyson is an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University (2008 – present) in the McAnulty College teaching leadership development courses for Graduate and Undergraduate students.

Rosemarie Perla, MS, MA, PCC

Rosemarie Perla, a Professional Coach and Licensed Psychologist, works with Executive Leaders and C-Suite professionals to achieve significant business and career transformation. Rosemarie brings over 20 years of experience, a knowledge base in behavioral science and human performance, and a passion to bear in assisting leaders to transform their work and their lives. Rosemarie’s experience as a Clinical Administrator at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center prepared her to work with Executives with challenges in the various Health Care arenas. Additionally, her effectiveness has been demonstrated in the fields of Finance, Law, Engineering, and Architecture and within emerging High Tech industries. Rosemarie holds a BS from Carlow College and an MS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the Executive and Leadership Coach, Consulting Psychologist with the Perla Group.
